Katie has worked in the Forensic Psychology field since 2010. Throughout that time, she has had experience in matters pertaining to parenting, out of home care, child protection, developmental trauma, and criminal matters.
She has experience in the preparation of expert reports in both the Child Protection and Criminal field, and is often required to provide expert testimony.
Katie has a special interest in parenting assessment and measurement of risk, conducting assessments in this area across both NSW and the ACT.
Katie recognises the importance of collaborative and holistic assessment. She is committed to continued education, and remaining current with research and best practice. She relies on her experience of working with families, along with her understanding of developmental trauma and models of parenting to provide informed and comprehensive assessments.
